As a composer, organ and harpsichord player, conductor and teacher, and more, Stephanie Martin wears many hats and all so gracefully. In recent years composition has taken a central role in Stephanie’s life and the twists and turns that led her there and lead her forward are the subject of our conversation — as well as thoughts on music and aging, on re-interpreting poetry, and some of our shared musical adventures over the 36 years since we first met.
